The crash is obviously in gstreamer, and AFAIK you can't run two different phonon-backend-gstreamer version alongside, so please use the Qt4 version only (In reply to comment #1) > The crash is obviously in gstreamer, and AFAIK you can't run two different > phonon-backend-gstreamer version alongside, so please use the Qt4 version > only no difference checked on git: master branch - same What git master branch? Did you read my message? The crash is in gstreamer, there is nothing I can do about. Also please use a recent version of the phonon-backend-gstreamer, there is a new version which makes use of the gstreamer 1.x version. (In reply to comment #3) > What git master branch? Why only Amarok crash on the gstreamer? "recent version of the phonon-backend-gstreamer" - latest frtom git and 4.7.1-1 from Archlinux. If you use the phonon backend from git (and don't have older versions installed alongside) then you definitely need the gstreamer 1.x packages and plugins, not the 0.10 version ones as you state in your original post. Also please do not use both the distribution packages and the git versions in the same user space, as this can cause several conflicts without adapting all path and config files for the dependencies. Amarok doesn't use gstreamer directly, unlike other applications, it uses Phonon, so the crash is not in Amarok anyway. Please make sure you have the correct dependency matches first and remove older ones. If the crash still happens, you should report this as a phonon-backend-gstreamer bug, not an Amarok one. *** Bug 336865 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
