I've installed plasma next on my Kubuntu system following the instructions from http://community.kde.org/Plasma/InstallingNext

Now, whenever I start up a project neon session from lightdm, I can't open any app. I'm opening kickoff after the deskto has loaded. Then, after clicking on any app, the kickoff menu is closed and the the desktop just freezes (clock doesn't update any more). I can still move the mouse pointer but klicking on anything doesn't cause any action. When going to the upper left corner, with the mouse, the corner is still highlighted, so graphics effects may still work.

I've tried this with my existing user and also with a new user account.
Since i can't start anything, I also cannot provide further debug information. But I'll be happy to try if given some advice on what to do.

I've tried opening "system settings", firefox and also konsole (terminal). Always the same, the desktop just froze and I had to kill it from tty1 (restart lightdm).

FYI, if you wait 60 seconds (2x dbus timeouts) it will probably restore and continue.

I've waited for 10 minutes in my last attempt. And plasma didn't recover. I actually pretty much doubt that this is a duplicate of Bug 335069. You can leave as it is at the moment, because I won't have any chance to work on the machine showing the bug for the next two weeks anyway.
