Interestingly, CTRL+ALT+TAB moves the 'active' tab to previous tab, but CTRL+TAB doesnt work. I know it used to work when I installed it on Ubuntu 13.10, so probably this issue popped up only recently.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open multiple tabs for multiple channels
2. Press ctrl+tab
Actual Results:  
Nothing happens

Expected Results:  
The 'active' tab should be switched to the tab next to the currently 'active' tab

The keyboard shortcuts for Next Tab and Previous Tab are initialized from the global KDE defaults for these actions (usually Ctrl+,/.).

Thanks Eike Hein for the information. Truly useful for people not used to the KDE defaults. 

I still think there is a usability issue for people who are used to using CTRL+TAB and CTRL+ALT+TAB for switching back and forth between tabs (generally used with browsers). We should either make both work or none. If it only works one way, it is going to confound the user.

That would be an issue to discuss perhaps on the kde-devel mailing list - it's not reasonable for Konversation to override the KDE defaults. Although as a user, you can of course easily change the shortcuts either in Konversation or globally.

(And I'm not sure why Ctrl+Alt+Tab does anything for you btw, it doesn't here.)
