The bug is caused by the setting to have the Menubar in Title Bar Button. When I set the Menu to be in application all is fine. Not only gwenview is affected by this bug but also ark, which also takes ages to open archives. Interesting bug. Can't reproduce with Gwenview, KWin, and Plasma from git master. please leave a comment if you can still reproduce this with more recent software. @Nate Graham In Plasma5 there is no Option have the Menubar in Title Bar Button. So nothing to test. Sure there is: System Settings > Application Style > Widget Style > Fine Tuning > Menubar style Holy Moly! Was it always there? Well nice to see that the option is there in Plasma 5. And no, no problems anymore. It has indeed always been there. :) Glad to hear that this is fixed now! |
