Description Jesús Guerrero Botella 2014-05-20 07:36:08 UTC
It seems that when using the oxygen-gtk style, the taskbar buttons have no left nor right padding space, and the icon and the text both reach the left and right sides of the button respectively.

This doesn't happen with any other gtk style.

It doesn't happen either when using the regular kde-based oxygen style (for example, in the lxqt panel taskbar).

Not a big deal, but since it's been happening since I can remember, I figured I'd just report it in case no one else noticed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. set oxygen-gtk as the gtk style, using systemsettings, lxappearance or whatever
2. fire up a gtk-based panel, such as the lxde panel or the xfce one
3. start some tasks and see how there's no padding in the taskbar buttons

Expected Results:
Since the aim of the gtk oxygen style is to mimic as much as possible the look of the regular oxygen style, I think it should have the same padding that the kde taskbar buttons have (or any other qt-based panel such as lxqt-panel).

Hi, and thanks for coming back to this.

It's still the same, screenshot attached. You can see how icons are literally touching the left border, and text reaches the right side. :)
