sometimes, the mouse stops delivering any event

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. press alt+tab to make the tabbox appear, keep it pressed to keep the tabbox visible
2. click anywhere on the screen outside the tabbox
3. the tabbox disappears
4. the mouse cursor is visible and moves, but doesn't deliver any event to any window
