Facebook avatar are missing from both contact list and contactlist applet.

Reproducible: Always

Connect to facebook

No avatars

Facebook don't seem to send them on initial load.
We can explicitly request avatars but that has a massive draw on network traffic and startup time.

Ideally we need to update the ktp cache to keep the avatars upon reconnect, which will make most the problem go away.

Any idea why it's working with pidgin on "initial load" ?

They are using different libraries and overall different approach to solving this problem. 

Apples and oranges :)
