If I add a new contact, i want to see the authentification status somehow in the contactlist:
See there that there are outstanding authentification requests and see that I send authentification to someone, you hasn't answered.
Till now there is no possibility to see, if i have sended a request or not. And also don't see the request from other persons in the contact list.

Especially if I chat with someone, with whom I have not been authentificated it would be nice to see the status directly and answer directy in the chat window.

As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists.

Dear user, unfortunately Telepathy is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
