Description Cristian Klein 2014-05-12 11:51:48 UTC
I added my Google Calendar to Kontact using the "Google Calendars and Tasks" add-on. When adding an event to a Google Calendar in Kontact it is not pushed to Google Calendar.

I think this issue is important. People need to be able to rely on Kontact to do what it promises. Missing an appointment due to a software bug is not excuse nowadays.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a Google Calendar
2. Add an event to a Google Calendar through Kontact
3. Check you calendar in GMail
Actual Results:
GMail does not display new event

Expected Results:
GMail should display new event

I tried refreshing the calendar, restarting Kontact, etc., but the event still does not show up in Google Calendar. Weirdly, the event is preserved in Kontact across restarts.

Works fine for me, did you choose the right calendar when creating the event?

As this bug is very old, and non-reproducable, I would suggest that it be closed.

This is indeed not reproducible here, using Kontact 4.14.2. Please make sure to actually select the correct calendar (you need to mark it specifically in Kontact to display and get synchronized).
Thank you for the testing, Russel.
