This has also been seen with a presence plugin activated where the status message also gets written to disk as the user-set presence when the machine was under heavy load. Also occurs when the kded module is replaced while a plugin is running, e.g. during an update. This is not acceptable, and may require a solution involving more parts of kde telepathy. This mostly looks like a regression caused by 9b8f17433a7b14b256c1eb9272186c0f00ab416f. There is an open bug with patch now on FreeDesktop bugzilla for TelepathyQT.
