The menu item "Open existing document as Untitled document" has no discernable difference between it and regularly opening a file - it starts a new instance of Krita Gemini, loads the file and does not make it an "untitled" document

I'm quite tempted to just completely drop the action from the menu. I do not really see a point, I guess it is a shortcut for open -> save as... ?

Yes... It's a standard KOffice^WCalligra thing, ancient stuff and I doubt it's much used.

gemini: Hide the "open existing as new" action.

It is currently duplicating the open action which is rather confusing.
