Package: konqueror
Version: 2.2.1 (using KDE 2.2.1 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.7
OS/Compiler notes:

Hi

I would like to see konqueror having the feature to handle cryptografik stuff automaticly. I suggest to have a point when right-clicking on a folder or a file "Encrypt file" which would ask for a password and encrypt the file. Then there could be a nifty new sign on the file which indicates that it is encrypted (e.g. there could be "locked" writen over the folder/file) If you clicked on such a folder/file it would ask you for the password -> Voila

Problem: I am not sure you can use the _good_ allgorithems to encrypt because of the fuss USA makes about them. So you could use a quite safe on that is still legal default and provide to get realy cool encrypters easily (d/l them of some server).
