The quick search bar above the message list was indeed a useful tool.
When I now enter a search string, e.g. from the sender, it does not find anything, although the search string is present....

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. enter search string in search bar
2. no mail is displayed
3. vary between search options (Full message, from, ...): No change

This may be related to the fact that the folder I'm filtering on is a subfolder of the lokal kmail inbox folder. Filtering in the inbox of an IMAP account works!

I fixed quick search for searching email even if baloo is disable.
