Description Albert Astals Cid 2014-04-26 13:43:03 UTC
Every time i delete an email from any of my folders in KMail akonadi_baloo_indexer produces a huge amount of I/O. Whatching iotop (sorry for the not so good way to measure, don't know a better one) it usually is writing to disk for around 15seconds and with a 2M/s rate.

This makes my the usage of my computer a bit of a pain every time i want to delete unneeded emails (which is very often :D)

This bug has only been reported for versions older than KDEPIM 4.14 (at most akonadi-1.3). Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a recent version of akonadi (part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
