As I already reported in the Kubuntu mailing list: this works fine here for me, maybe a restart of Konact and/or restarting the akonadi server might help. I can add an entry inside Konact and edit an existing entry, both changes are reported to the remote source. I already tried to stop/restart The Akonadi server, but nothing happens. Maybe, or for sure, it is something in my settings, but my skills in this area are limited, so I don't to do. After creating the akonadi ressource, did you go back to the Contacts File menu -> New -> Add address book? Created attachment 86242 [details]

Yes, but is it selected from the adressbook? I think you have to explicitly select the source once it is created. As you can see from the screenshot, I have the resource created and working (ready, with green light) in the "Agents" dialog, but the same doesn't work inside Kaddressbook. If I create another one from within the Kaddressbook dialog, the same is created "inside the Agents dialog", but not showed in Kaddressbook (Kontact). HTH. This is my problem. I can see it in the PIM dialog but not in the addressbook one (look at the picture attached). I solved the problem - in Akonadi Agent there are TWO Google Contacts: - Google Contacts, that doesn't work for me - akonadi_google_data_resource, that works correctly for me. the first Agent/widget should be analysed and corrected, in order to avoid problems. thanks for the help |
