This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months. I have run some tests on kmail2 (latest version on Arch) a few weeks ago. While search provides relevant results now (as it seems at a quick glance) - the virtual folders are still lacking: You can apply additional criteria to a virtual folder but the changes have no effect on the content of the virtual search folder. No matter how one edits the search criteria the results always reflect the configuration of th initial search which created the search folder. thx, p.
