What type of tracks are you listening to? How exactly can we reproduce this? I tried here and it doesn't crash on pause at all Closing for lack of feedback, Please feel free to reopen this report if you can provide the requested information. Created attachment 95246 [details]

amarok (2.8.0) on KDE Platform 4.14.11 using Qt 4.8.6
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I hit 'Pause' some times as amarok didn't react. It should play a song from my smart phone via mtp.
