it is currently not possible to change desktop background from systemsettings as option is missing, the search bar does not get any results..

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open 'systemsettings'
2. search for background
3. click around and try it for yourself.. i am too lazy to go trough the configuration file
Actual Results:
got greyed everything

Expected Results:
to be able to change background image somehow

i am sure this was there once.. it was awesome, you could make earth your background... thats how awesome it was.. its now gone

Right-click on the Desktop, there is a Desktop Settings entry in the menu. If you reconfigured the menu, you can click the "cashew" at the corner to get the menu.

Some technical explanation is at bug 155056.
