18.08.3 - no artefacts

any idea when and how this got fixed in your player? 
i kind of gave up on it 4 years ago since it was strange in rendering colours and compression artefacts were there. in the meanwhile i also changed from nvidia gtx 770 to gtx 1060 and drivers got updated several times too (415.18 now tested) and lots of X11 related stuff of course got updated too.
