Since the update to kubuntu 14.04 the laptop start normally. As soon as
i see the Login Screen the computer goes into standby.

If i open the laptop the computer wakes up again and i can login. After
the login it switches to the two external monitors and i can close the
laptop again. It will lock the screen but after login everything is fine.

Before the upgrade everything worked normally.

Laptop: Lenovo T530 with docking station and two external monitors.
Graphics driver: nvidia 331.38-0ubuntu7

Reproducible: Always

We no longer use lightDM, having moved to SDDM several years ago. As such, this bug report is no longer applicable. Bugs reports for the new SDDM-based login screen should be filed to one of two places:

1. Visual/UI bugs with the login screen UI itself, or feature requests: plasmashell | Theme - Breeze
2. Bugs with the login/user switching process: https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues
