Description Axel Krebs 2014-04-06 05:29:56 UTC
DigiKam pops up a windwow with google contecnt?, when starting up

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. as we all know, google is a monstruos machinerey to collect and spy out private data galore.
2. so it would be more than reasonable to avoid any sevice referring to google.
3. my urgent suggestion: avoiding google services and their affiliates.
Actual Results:
personally, I do not want to be spyied out by google.

From the window, I have to assume that their is a connection between digiKam and google.

Expected Results:
cut these (potential) connections, please

That is coming from Adblock-plus which is a plugin for a browser. It is nothing to do with digiKam.
