Suggested console run commands did not work. 
Complete novice at Linux, finding troubleshooting very difficult!

Reproducible: Didn't try




Not sure what is missing? Browser seems OK  so far! Haven't tried anything else.
Installation is clean instal on old PC over top of Kubuntu ver 8.

Please ask for help on a forum of your distribution. The KDE bug tracker does not offer help for novices. Additionally, please download newer versions. Konsole 2.8.3 is outdated.
