I have attached an implementation I started on a long time ago, but never finished. Feel free to work on it if interested. It can be done either via xkb: XkbLockGroup(QX11Info::display(), XkbUseCoreKbd, group) or via dbus if kde keyboard daemon is running, e.g. qdbus org.kde.keyboard /Layouts org.kde.KeyboardLayouts.setLayout us Another find: In the .kvtml file there are
