We would need a way to reproduce this reliably, if it only happens sometimes this is hard to track. Apparently it happens on track change and you are suing a playlist generator or a dynamic playlist, right? Then please provide the XML file for that playlist as well, it is located in $HOME/.kde/share/apps/amarok/ Could you please run Amarok from a konsole with 'amarok -d --nofork' for some time and when it crashes, provide the last 100 lines of the output? About my playlists: I add my entire local collection to the playlist and put it on Random Tracks with Higher Ratings favored. I have no user created playlists. I'll be running Amarok in debug mode until this happens again. Any news? Apparently it didn't crash in over 4 months... Closing for lack of feedback. Please feel free to reopen this report if you can reproduce this with Amarok 2.8 or later. |
