KDE Connect: "No such object path '/modules/kdeconnect/Devices/.../sftp'"
Same issue with android application v. 0.6.3 and KDE Connect revision 13970fed (2014-03-26) from master. See screenshot in the attachment. I have similar problem on Google Nexus 4. Internal Error Please send a full bug report at http://bugs.kde.org No such object path '/modules/kdeconnect/devices/6bd2cc27319800b/sftp' I am Fedora 20, kde-workspace-4.11.8-1.fc20.x86_64 and kde-connect-0.6-0.2.20140305git52901898.fc20.x86_64 I have the same problem At the developer blog someone asked about the same problem and this was his response: "Make sure you have sshfs installed, although this feature is still being tested and can have some issues." but that still didn't solve the problem! Latest KDE client from git Android from PlayStore Fedora 20 with KDE (In reply to comment #4) > I have the same problem > > At the developer blog someone asked about the same problem and this was his > response: > "Make sure you have sshfs installed, although this feature is still being > tested and can have some issues." > > but that still didn't solve the problem! > > Latest KDE client from git > Android from PlayStore > Fedora 20 with KDE Hello Fahad. Yes, I know about sshfs dependency. It's installed on my system. Created attachment 87039 [details]
This patch should resolve the problem.
I had a similar problem (kubuntu 14.04, kdeconnect from git). This patch should resolve the problem. This will also solve a problem with a plasma-desktop crash on first run sftp plugin.
*** This bug has been confirmed by popular vote. *** I think this should be fixed already. Sorry, but ithink the problem is still there. I can confirm the same problem with 0.7.1, most recent android app, latest sshfs on more than one computer. Funny thing is that accessing the phone from the laptop (sometimes) works while the connection from the desktop computer fails permanently. Both have basically the same set of software. Kubuntu 14.04 Trusty Maybe it's fixed in 0.7.2, but that is not yet available via trusty-backports (i tried to figure out how to poke the maintainers, but i gave up ... no simple way to file a bug report ... at least none that i could figure out) I'm still getting this on the newest Android app (0.8) and kdeconnect 0.8-1 on a laptop running Arch Linux x64. Sorry, but this bug is still here with Kubuntu Trusty. Dolphin always give the following message: "No such object path '/modules/kdeconnect/devices/<mac address>/sftp'" kdeconnect 0.8 / Kubuntu 14.04 Trusty KDE connect app 0.9c / Android 4.4.4 But, I have no troubles when running same versions on another computer with Kubuntu 15.10 Wily ... Please, ignore my previous comment. Today, after a reboot, it works under Trusty too. I can't say why it did not yesterday. Sorry. I had this happen today also with Plasma 5.5.4 and 0.9g-1.2 on openSUSE tumbleweed. It appears that if you keep the phone connected while in plasma it looses connection. Reason for me seems: The dark proprietary side of my smartphone sending WLan connectivity to standby. And KDE connect thinks it was still connected. So if i just enable the screen and bring W-Lan up the error disappears. Could KDE Connect get notifyed somehow that the device is going to standby? Greetings, |
