krita (2.8.0) on KDE Platform 4.12.3 using Qt 4.8.2
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was trying to open a file through the "Open File" dialog when the application crashed.

I tried a solution that someone told me about and it seems to be working. I removed the qt-at-spi package, and now krita is not crashing neither on exporting nor on opening files. Hi Abdelrahman, Yes, this isn't a bug in Krita, but either in Qt or in Ubuntu. Thanks Boudewijn... Actually, I think you were the one who suggested that solution back when I was using Krita 2.7 :D... so thank you very much Is this still an issue with newer versions of Ubuntu etc? @Frederik Gladhorn As I noticed, the 14.04 version of Ubuntu doesn't have this issue. "qt-at-spi", the package that caused the problem with earlier Ubuntu versions, is installed in 14.04, but it doesn't cause the same problem anymore. |
