Description Sascha 2014-03-09 17:59:03 UTC
Krita is an awesome program, I can see it being integrated into some workflows better if .psd export was improved, for example, on .psd export and options screen to choose how to handle features that won't transfer, like applying alphas or attemting to translate them to a mask in the .psd, flattening of filters that aren't supported and approximations of ones that are (ex: levels). Improved support for photoshop features, example; I exported my document as .psd and the layers were all laid out linearly without keeping the group structure.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. export a .psd on a mid complexity document
2. import it in photoshop or GIMP and see that many things could be better
3.

Yes, group layers aren't supported yet, I'm afraid. This issue is reported as 289857 and was being worked on for some time already.
