Description vanyossi 2014-03-06 00:19:37 UTC
Setting a perspective assistant to cover the entire canvas is rather difficult with the current setup. Allowing to grab the edge to grow the area of the perspective assistant without loosing current Vanishing point would be a great time saver.

The behavior would end up like this:
Grab corners to move the Vanishing point
Grad middle point to add another perspective plane
Grab edge to grow perspective assistant without loosing current Vanishing point.

I attach a little gif, using blender to show the concept.

Reproducible: Always

we would have to figure out how that pulling out or in would work. We already have side handles on the perspective assistant, and they create another assistant that is perpendicular to it. I imagine people don't want to lose that, so we would have to some how have both if we were to add this

It needs some GUI mockup, or maybe behaviour mockup. Maybe a modifier: shift or ctrl, or two different handles that the user can use to drag the edge?
