The Sketch file-manager exposes a very OS-level organisation of files, and defaults to "My Pictures". This forces the user to drill up to the drives list to move between devices.

It would be useful if the user could add a folder as a favourite to appear on a bar (maybe along the bottom, or top? Free some space used by the title?) that could be scrolled horizontally .

It would be useful if a "Device" level favourite was present too - allowing to quickly switch drives and conceptually support the idea of "internal memory" "SD card" present on tablets, for example.

also the default filenames and formats would be nice. Export option ind .kra is meaningless, why can't user choose preferable and  stick to it?

dadapotok: this is about Sketch not regular Krita.

Marking sketch wishes as later, let's first get sketch working again.
