please answer the questions and provide the informations requested in bug #331284 comment #1 I suspect some issue more deep down causing stack corruptions, eventually broken RAM (consider running memcheck) Also you should elaborate on what was hard about reporting the bug; the apparently hanging keys and this claim stress the assumption of a more general issue.
