INTRODUCTION

Users don't think that KGet can download different parts of a file at the same time, like it's seen in:
    http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-devel&m=130121860423058&w=2
because they can't see any sign of that feature working. That is (relatively) easily solved.

A CASE OF A USER

Jane is coming from Windows to Linux. She worked with Getright and she is used to see a visual indicator that Getright was downloading a file from several servers at the same time, like it's seen in the colored blocks of:
    http://getright.com/images/getright_downloading.gif
Note: That image can be seen in
    http://getright.com/whatisit.html

Jane doesn't see in KGet a visual indication that this is also happening when she downloads some files, so she thinks that KGet can't do what the other program does, thinks about reporting a bug, switching, etc.

PROPOSAL

In KGet, a simple label like "Simultaneous connections: 3" (a better text can be used) could be shown when Jane clicks to see the details of her download. This way she wouldn't try report a bug, nor think that KGet could go faster if it downloaded from several servers at a time; and she would also have more complete information about what is really happening.

THANKS FOR KGET!
