New crash information added by DrKonqi
kontact (4.14.7) on KDE Platform 4.14.7 using Qt 4.8.6
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I had opened a one tab in Akgregator, had finished reading one of them and closed it with the mouse.
I got the KDE crash handler. Restarting worked, closing the tab worked then.

Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! Unfortunately, I can not test the bug anymore because I use falkon instead of konqueror. Thank you for the crash report. As it has been a while since this was reported, can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved. I have set the bug status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved/worksforme" when you respond, thank you. Please see comment 4 from 2018-11-16 14:47:34 UTC Dear user, KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6. Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component. We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes. For security issues, please see: https://kde.org/info/security/ Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML. Greetings Christoph Cullmann |
