the thumbnails that should be below the camera just appear as red squares (see the screenshot) . you can click the red squares and pictures from ~/Pictures open but you cant see the thumbnails do you don't actually know what is going to open

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open application
2. Look at thumbnails
Actual Results:  
The thumbnails are red squares

Expected Results:  
The thumbnails should be actual pictures
