When changing icon theme, certain icons still hold on the old theme in some applications (cf. dolphin screenshot after many reboots).

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change KDE icon theme in systemsettings
2. Open Dolphin
3. Look for artifacts (old icons, try changing size or layout)...
4. Logout and back in
5. Check for those artifacts 
Actual Results:  
Some icons still have the old theme

Expected Results:  
All icons have been updated

$ rm /var/tmp/kdecache-$(whoami)/icon-cache.kcache

Then logout/login solves the issue

Almost 3 years later and this bug is still present...
Fix it please.

It's not a cache problem, it's actually an issue in the specific apps. Some do change their icons instantly (such as Konsole), but others don't. For the apps that don't, we need bugs filed against them. Thanks!
