(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kmail
Version: 1.3.1 (using KDE 2.2.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20010902 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.10
OS/Compiler notes:

Kmail does not follow the RFC3156 when handling pgp encrypted messages.

When sending an email encrypted with pgp kmail does not add any appropriate header lines.

LOL! Did you have a look at the release date of rfc3156 and of KDE 2.2?

"Duplicate request" "we're working on it" etc.

Package: kmail
Version: 1.5 (using KDE 3.1.0 )
Installed from: compiled sources
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19

Especially X-Pgp-Fingerprint, X-Pgp-Info, X-Pgp-Key and X-Pgp-Version are
missing. Either when encrypting with builtin gpg support or when using ägypten.

:) Roland.

The original report was about something completely different.
Furthermore, none of the headers you mention is a standard header (else
it wouldn't start with "X-"). You can add arbitrary headers to all
messages if you want to.
