CentOS6.4, Kernel 2.6.32-358.el6.x86_64, KDE 4.3.4, Konsole 2.3.3.
After setting tab name manually (and removing configuration from tab title format and remote tab title format), tab name gets changed.
•	It allows the user to change a tab name to something meaningful to the user.
•	It sometimes changes the name to something else, e.g. 'shell'.
•	This change occurs fairly randomly and at unpredictable times (usually when remote host disconnects)

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect to remote host
2. configure tab name manually
3. Sometime when remote host disconnect (reboots for example) tab name changes to "shell"
Actual Results:  
 Sometime when remote host disconnect (reboots for example) tab name changes to "shell"

Expected Results:  
Tab name should stay static

Hello, as I'm sure you know you're using an extremely old version of KDE. There are still a few bug reports about the tab titles and other related issues.  I believe the issue you detailed is fixed in later versions.
