After filling in the contents of a pop-up note (as a note by itself or attached to another annotation object), I would like to be able to easily close or hide the contents of the text box so I may continue annotating without the box covering up a large portion of the document. Currently the only way to do this is to navigate by mouse to the top right corner of the box and click on the 'x'. In PDF-Xchange, one can set a keyboard shortcut that closes all open note boxes. I think a simpler solution might be to set <Ctrl>-enter to close the focused, current open note box. Regardless, making a way to close the text box using some kind of keystroke would be a wonderful feature.

Reproducible: Always

Isn't that what Esc does?

Indeed, it does. Thank you for pointing this out! [I marked this as "Fixed", but I'm not sure if that is the proper way to close this. Clearly, what really needs fixing is my own ignorance and not Okular!]
