Description Vasilis.Vlachoudis 2014-01-20 10:38:55 UTC
After each login the pager appears on the task bar with wrong dimensions.
I can see only the second half row as in the attached image (http://pceet075.cern.ch/bnv/kde-pager.png).

The problem is caused due to my screen setup.
I have two monitors the left one with 1920x1200 (horizontal)
and the right one rotated vertically (90deg) with resolution 1050x1680
x11 creates a screen with dimensions: 2970x1680
with the lower-left corner non-existent.
With this setup the pager shows as in the above image.

To correct the problem I have to go to the settings Alt+D,S
and change the "Display text" to "No text" hit apply and select "Desktop name" hit Ok.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use two screens 16:9 with one horizontal and one vertical rotated by 90deg
2. Login to KDE
3.

Hello!

This bug report was filed for KDE Plasma 4, which reached end-of-support status in August 2015. KDE Plasma 5's desktop shell has been almost completely rewritten for better performance and usability, so it is likely that this bug is already resolved in Plasma 5.

Accordingly, we hope you understand why we must close this bug report. If the issue described here is still present in KDE Plasma 5.12 or later, please feel free to open a new ticket in the "plasmashell" product after reading https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting

If you would like to get involved in KDE's bug triaging effort so that future mass bug closes like this are less likely, please read https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved#Bug_Triaging

Thanks for your understanding!

Nate Graham
