(Update: Moving the DB and importing the collection from scratch gladly fixed the symptom. But not the cause :) ) > Finally I did Collection > Reread Metadata from Images … ah no, sorry, this does not exist anymore in this version :P
The right menu option is Image/Reread Metadata from Image
You can also use Tools/Maintenance and select collection to parse with right metadata workflow...
