Hi folks, I am trying to use an USB digital TV tuner (PixelView PlayTV USB SBTVD) to watch tv on Ubuntu 13.04. Sadly, I am getting this error when I try to scan channels:
usb 2-1.3: dtv_property_cache_sync: doesn't know how to handle a DVBv3 call to delivery system 0

I also tested on Ubuntu 12.10, and I got the same error.
Is there any way to work this around ? Is Kaffeine being adapted to use DVBv5?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Pick a USB digital TV tuner
2. install kaffeine
3.try to scan channels
Actual Results:
Got the following erros on syslog:
usb 2-1.3: dtv_property_cache_sync: doesn't know how to handle a DVBv3 call to delivery system 0

This bug is too old, for a version < 1.3. Closing it, as the latest version is 2.0.1, and lots of things changed since version 1.2.x, including the usage of VLC as video display backend, support for DVB-T2 and ISDB-T via libVLC, etc.

You may check on the upstream version and see if the bug was solved. The README file contains instructions about how to compile it. You can find it at our git repository:

If you find similar issues with version 2.0.1, please re-open.
