NB: I know you don't support the Debian oldstable KDE release (4.4.5) any more - I add this report *only* because it seems the bug is quite old (reported in 4.7.x), and still unresolved, and just conceivably this new stack trace may help the assignee in diagnosis.

I fired up Dolphin, opened the 'Network', then 'Samba Shares', then the WORKGROUP, then the Netbios name of the *WinXP* server, then the name of the user-created shared folder - then >BANG<

If this bug is not helpful then please just close it (as useless/unhelpful/unsupported-for-years/whatever).
