When selecting a folder to delete in an IMAP account, the folder will reappear after a few moments.  Selecting to delete from Kontact or Akonadi Console produces same results.  Folders reappear after IMAP "retrieves folder list".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select folder to delete
2. Agree to delete folder
3. IMAP resource retrieves folder list
4. Folders reappear
Actual Results:  
Folders reappear

Expected Results:  
Folder should be deleted

I did have the same issue with only one of my IMAP accounts.

But it seems to be fixed in 4.13.

Can you upgrade to 4.13 (openSUSE packages are available in the KDE:Current repo) and check whether you still see the issue or not?

This bug has only been reported for versions older than KDEPIM 4.14 (at most akonadi-1.3). Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a recent version of akonadi (part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
