Description guidoball 2014-01-09 21:31:48 UTC
A stored and selected Contact Group, for example "taize" does not send any E-Mail. There is an error "Recipient address rejected: need fully-qualified address". The E-Mail is moved to the outbox and the name of the Contact Group has changed into "taize@linux-7kee".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Generate a new Contact Group with some E-Mail-Adresses
2. Write an E-Mail to the Contact Group
Actual Results:
The E-Mail is moved into the outbox with an error, that the E-Mail has not a qualified adress. The adress has also changed into "...@linux7-kee".

Expected Results:
The E-Mail should send to the members of the Contact Group without an error.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
