If a comment should be removed because of privacy, please use a sysadmin ticket. See https://sysadmin.kde.org/tickets/ Otherwise, I dislike the idea to remove/edit comments, unless it is possible for others to see the original contents (like, e.g. with facebook posts). Too many people will remove their offensive comments, after realizing they went over the edge. And following comments do not make much sense then. Keeping it open to collect more opinions. I'd prefer such a feature to be added by upstream Bugzilla, before we'd consider providing it. I agree with Christoph in that allowing editing / removal may be problematic in terms of breaking the discussion workflow. In any instance, if anything private / confidential / etc is posted accidentally to KDE Bugzilla, a ticket is the correct method at this time to get it removed. Editing comments = dup of bug 334299? Upstream: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=540 I concur, thanks for triaging Andre. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 334299 *** |
