The workaround of restarting kded manually, described in bug #338868 comment #3, does not work in my case. Disabling power management on my laptop is not an option either, because I fear a reduced battery runtime.

If anyone needs additional information to debug and fix this, please do not hesitate to ask. Please also note that after about half a year of having this issue on about every 2nd return from standby, yesterday was the first time DrKonqi popped up with a crash backtrace – so even improving the debugability and information collection of this problem might help finding the cause.

For me this no longer happens with openSUSE 13.2:

This bug is reported on libsolid which is the kdelibs4 version of the solid library.  It is now in maintenance mode.  If you think it should still be fixed in the KDE Frameworks 5 version of solid please move it to or report a bug on frameworks-solid or Powerdevil.
