When one opens a logfile via the menu, the logfile gets opened in a new tab, but we're not switched to see that tab. We're still on the tab from which we wanted to view the logfile. When many tabs are open, the opening of logfile can miss attention.

Steps to Reproduce:
Menu bar > Window > Open logfile for <channel>
Actual Results:  
Opens logfile in new tab

Expected Results:  
Opens logfile in new tab and opens that tab for the user to view
