Description Kai Uwe Broulik 2013-12-02 09:38:46 UTC
When entering a wrong password, there is a delay of a couple of seconds until the "Incorrect password" toast is shown and the input reset. If you immediately recognize you've mistyped your password and type again, your input will be deleted once the notificaiton appears. The input should be disabled during that period.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type a wrong password
2. Hit enter
3. Type again
Actual Results:
Your input is deleted once the "Wrong password" notification is shown

Expected Results:
Disable the input field until it is cleared

We no longer use lightDM, having moved to SDDM several years ago. As such, this bug report is no longer applicable. Bugs reports for the new SDDM-based login screen should be filed to one of two places:

1. Visual/UI bugs with the login screen UI itself, or feature requests: plasmashell | Theme - Breeze
2. Bugs with the login/user switching process: https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues
