Description Dan Mossor 2013-11-28 04:33:41 UTC
When ripping a CD, a dialog/status window is created to track the progress of the rip. When the rip is completed, the two options presented to you to close the window are "Close" and "Open debugging output".

Ejecting the CD from this point takes three mouse clicks - one to close that window, one right-click on the device in the file tree or on the menu, and another to eject. Users should be able to eject from the status window when the rip completes successfully, closing that window and getting ready for the next operation.

Further discussion should also be entertained as to the average user's need for a debugging output button - that should be buried in a menu somewhere for the people who know what it is and need to see it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Insert CD to rip audio with k3b.
2. Rip the CD.
3. See the only two options to close the status window.
Actual Results:
Two options are presented, neither of which are the most efficient use case.

Expected Results:
To be able to eject and close the status window with one click when the rip completes successfully.

No sense in leaving RFEs simply unanswered, so I'll just close this myself. Thanks for your (lack of) time.
