Hello;

I would like to post a feature request for the icon-only task manager widget in KDE 4.10. Since in icon-only mode each icon takes only a small space, there is practically no need for window grouping. Grouping just requires extra mouse clicks to reach a window. I am not qualified to add this feature myself, so I am ready to fund it with €50. I haven't tried KDE 4.11, I don't know if this feature has already been added. If that's the case I would upgrade KDE and delete this request.

Thanks,
Deniz Ayıkol

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Remove the standard task manager widget from the panel
2.Add Icon-only task manager widget
3.Open multiple windows of the same program
Actual Results:
Multiple windows of the same program are grouped in a single icon. There is no option to disable grouping and show a separate icon for each window.

Expected Results:
An option to disable window grouping in the widget settings.

Well I couldn't find how to edit my original post but I think €50 is a bit too much, I can only give €20.

NO. IconTasks is designed, and always has been, to ALWAYS group tasks. This is the way the code is written, and this is NOT going to change.

It's reproducible with Plasma 5. However, there's no alternatives like smooth-tasks.

Craig, can you tell what is the reason? Why it's so hart to add a simple option?
