Sorry Laurent, thanks for noticing!
Late night, eyes tired, perhaps too much vino!
Attachments now with bug report.

Hi, it's right I saw this bug sometime ago. Will investigate. But composer is not a real html editor so it can't be 100% but it's right we must load external image. I worked on a real html editor but didn't have time to finish it. Regards On Friday, November 22, 2013 06:08:18 PM you wrote:

Laurent,
Thanks for the reply!
What is puzzling to me is that I could swear that composer was working
properly (with regard to this loading HTML external references issue), before
the last set of updates was released.
Having composer become a real, HTML editor would be a big plus for KDE Mail.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months. Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input. |
